Howl’s Moving Castle
My final major project at Ravensbourne University was to create a cover, 5 full-page illustrations and 10 spot illustrations for Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I like every creative adaption of this books, however, I’ve never seen one made from a Welsh cultural perspective. This is important as the Welsh inclusions in Welsh media are often glossed over and forgotten about. When working on this project, not only did I work to retain the Welsh cultural elements of the book, I also inluded parts of my own cultural upbringing.
